An unarmed Minuteman III missile is scheduled for launch early Wednesday morning (May 21) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. Following liftoff from north base during a 12:01 to 05:01 a.m. PDT launch window, the vehicle will probably fly a ballistic (non-orbital) trajectory to the central Pacific.

Observers with a dark, clear sky, and an unobstructed horizon could see the event with the naked eye from as far away as southern Oregon, central Nevada, southwest Utah, western Arizona, and northern Baja California.

There will probably be no updates or video feeds for this launch.
