Today's planned Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. has been delayed to Thursday (July 31). The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 9:29 a.m. PDT and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit. Eight minutes after launch, the first stage will attempt to land on a drone ship positioned down range.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye from as far away as 100 statute miles.
