A Falcon 9 rocket may be scheduled for launch Thursday afternoon (January 30) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 3:32 p.m. Pacific Time and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit. Eight minutes after launch the rocket's first stage will land on a drone ship located down range.

Weather permitting, the early portion of the launch could be visible to the unaided eye from as far away as 100 statute miles.
