This evening's planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB has been delayed. Liftoff is now scheduled for Sunday (December 28) at 6:08 p.m. PST.

An analysis by Launch Alert contributor Rick Baldridge shows if the vehicle is launched on time, it should climb into sunlight at about T+5 minutes.

Unlike many Vandenberg Falcon 9 launches, this mission will apparently fly towards the southwest instead of flying parallel to the coast (this assumes I am correctly interpreting information about the launch recently released to the public).
