Vandenberg SFB has announced that a Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch Saturday morning (April 12). The vehicle slated to lift off from south base at 5:25 a.m. PDT and carry the NROL-192 mission into orbit. Several minutes after launch the first stage will attempt to land on a drone ship located down range.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye over a wide area.
