A Minuteman III strategic missile is scheduled for launch Tuesday evening - Wednesday morning (November 5 - 6) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from north base between 11:01 p.m. and 5:01 a.m. PST. The vehicle will probably fly a ballistic trajectory to a predetermined target in the Central Pacific.

Weather permitting, the launch could be visible over a wide area.
