A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch early Sunday morning (May 19) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 12:22 a.m. PDT and carry the NROL-146 mission into orbit.

Weather permitting, a midnight launch could be visible over a wide area, but the presence of a nearly full Moon high in the sky at liftoff could hamper launch viewing.
