Tonight's (March 18) launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. appears to be on schedule. The vehicle is slated to leave south base between approximately 7:20 and 11:42 p.m. PDT and carry 23 Starlink satellites into orbit.

As mentioned earlier, observers over a wide area could be treated to an interesting display if the launch occurs early enough for the rocket's exhaust to be illuminated by sunlight at high altitude.
