As previously announced by Vandenberg SFB, an unarmed Minuteman III strategic missile is scheduled for launch early tomorrow morning (June 4) between 12:01 and 6:01 a.m. PDT. Following liftoff from north Vandenberg, the vehicle will head west and fly a ballistic (non-orbital) trajectory to the central Pacific.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for hundred of miles.
