[Launch Alert]

This evening's (July 10) launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. is on schedule. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base during a 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. PDT launch window and carry several Starlink satellites into orbit.

If liftoff occurs early in the window, the Sun will be above the horizon and the launch will be difficult to see beyond about 50 miles.
