A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch early tomorrow morning (September 25) from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 1:48 a.m. PDT and carry 21 Starlink satellites into orbit.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for hundreds of miles for several minutes. During the first few minutes of the launch, the Falcon will produce a bright orange flame. The flame will gradually dim as the vehicle's tenuous exhaust plume appears. The plume should remain visible through the entire second stage burn.
