This morning's (March 30) launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB appears to be on schedule. Following liftoff at 7:29 a.m. PDT, the vehicle will probably head southward. Weather permitting, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for at least 100 miles.
