This afternoon's (March 17) planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg SFB, Calif. appears to be on schedule. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 12:26 p.m. PDT, head southward, and carry 52 Starlink satellites into orbit.

If the sky is clear, the first few minutes of the launch could be visible up to 100 miles away.
