A Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from Vandenberg SFB tonight (JUL 19) at approximately 9:09 p.m. PDT. Despite earlier predictions that lifoff would occur too long after sunset for sunlight to illuminate the rocket's exhaust, the Twilight Effect was indeed seen. It was a nice display.
