A Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled for launch tomorrow evening (November 17) at 8:39 p.m. PST from Vandenberg SFB, Calif.. The rocket will probably parallel the coast as it heads towards the south-southeast. Weather permitting, the bright orange flame from the rocket may be visible to the unaided eye for hundreds of miles (possibly as far away as Sacramento, Calif.; Las Vegas, Nev.; and Kingman, Ariz.).
