[Launch Alert]

A Falcon 9 rocket carrying several Starlink satellites is scheduled for launch today (July 12) from Vandenberg SFB. The vehicle is slated to lift off from south base at 2:40 p.m. PDT. Following liftoff, the vehicle will probably head south as it climbs into orbit.

Weather permitting, the event could be visible for up to 100 statute miles.
