A Falcon 9 rocket carrying a classified payload for the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office is scheduled for launch tomorrow morning (Friday, April 15) from Vandenberg SFB. The rocket is slated to lift off from south base at 6:41 a.m. PDT and will probably head south as it climbs into orbit. For observers on the West Coast, the launch will take place after sunrise. If the sky is clear, the event could be visible to the unaided eye for more than 100 statute miles.
