[Launch Alert]

This morning's launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg AFB appears to be on schedule for a 09:17:08 PST liftoff. The rocket's launch azimuth (direction of flight) is believed to be 154 degrees from true north (in other words, towards the south-southeast). Following liftoff, the Falcon 9 will roughly parallel the coast as it climbs into orbit.
