This morning's planned launch of a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg AFB took place as planned at 04:39 PDT. The rocket's upper stage carrying several Iridium NEXT satellites reached orbit and the rocket's first stage has successfully landed on a drone ship downrange of the launch site.
