We may be in store for a nice photo op this evening as the Moon and Venus have a close encounter in the dusk sky. You may want to get your camera ready.

On another topic, the dawn July 20 Falcon 9 launch from Vandenberg AFB has been delayed until July 25. Unfortunately, the new launch time occurs too long for the exhaust plume to be illuminated by sunlight at high altitude.

And finally, I would like to know if any of you have problems with the way Launch Alert or www.spacearchive.info are displayed on your PC, phone, tablet, or other device.
