Editor's Note: Vandenberg AFB public affairs said the the reason for the delay was clouds, showers, and areas of lightning downrange and that weather conditions downrange look more favorable tomorrow. The following is the Vandenberg AFB news release:


FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Aug. 10, 2011

MINOTAUR IV LAUNCH DELAYED

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. - The Minotaur IV rocket scheduled to
launch from Space Launch Complex-8 here between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. (PDT) Aug.
10 has been delayed due to poor weather conditions downrange. 

The launch has been rescheduled for Aug. 11 between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The rocket's payload is the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's
Hypersonic Test Vehicle-2.
