                            E-MAIL POLICY

The following are the terms and conditions you must observe to remain
on this mailing list:

1. No Photos or Attachments

Please DO NOT send me any e-mails with photos or other attachments.
If you have a space-related photo that
may be of interest, please describe it first.

2. Self-service

   This is a self-service newsletter.

You are totally responsible for subscribing, saving your
subscription password, changing e-mail addresses, and
   unsubscribing.

The only subscription management request the Editor will perform for
you is removal from the distribution list.

3. Questions

Readers should not send the Editor individual requests for
information regarding launch dates, times, status, viewing, or
   photography.

The answers to many launch-related questions can be found by:

      - Re-reading your Launch Alert

      - Consulting the following Web pages:

                          LAUNCH ON SCHEDULE

Tonight's launch of a Delta II rocket carrying an Italian satellite
appears to be on schedule. The Delta is slated to leave Space Launch
Complex 2-West at 7:20:07 p.m. PDT.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

                          A SPECIAL REQUEST

If you plan to go to one of the known launch observing sites, try to
arrive no later than T-30 minutes. If you arrive later, there's a
real possibility that your car's headlights will hurt the night
vision of people already at the site.

If you arrive at the last minute, your headlights could also spoil
the photos people are taking of the launch (professional and semi-
pro photographers are known to frequent the various observing sites).

                          COUNTDOWN STATUS

Two good sources of countdown status for the Delta II/COSMO-4 launch
are the Spaceflight Now web site and Twitter feed. Point your browser
to:

   http://www.spaceflightnow.com

   http://twitter.com/spaceflightnow

Vandenberg AFB has a Facebook page and Twitter feed that contain launch
information. Go to:

  http://www.facebook.com/30thSpaceWing

  http://twitter.com/30thSpaceWing

A launch broadcast starts at 6:15 p.m. PDT. The details are as follows:

  Satellite: AMC1 @ 103 degrees west
  Transponder: K18
  Bandwidth -36 MHz (KU Band)
  103 Degrees West
  UL: 14360 MHz Horizontal

A simulcast of the broadcast will be available on the web at:
