[Launch Alert] Launch Delayed

The previous edition of Launch Alert mentioned a Ground-based Interceptor (GBI) launch from Vandenberg AFB on September 23. A reliable source informed me that the launch was postponed. The new launch date is unknown.

Hopefully a new launch date will results in better weather. This morning here in Summerland some 50 miles (80 kilometers) southeast of Vandenberg coast it's foggy, cold, and damp with a visibility of 150 feet (50 meters).
No exactly good launch viewing weather.
