                       TARGET MISSILE LAUNCHED

Tuesday evening's scheduled launch of a target missile from Vandenberg
AFB took place, but was delayed by nearly an hour.

Lift-off was originally scheduled for 20:30:00 PDT*. However, the
countdown was abruptly halted at about T-2 minutes due to a problem
with the missile.

The launch team investigated the issue and planned another launch
attempt. The countdown was resumed and the launch took place March 20
at 21:27:00 PDT.
