                            LAUNCH UPDATE

Here are a couple of updates regarding tomorrow's Pegasus XL/ST5
launch. As of Sunday, the probability of acceptable launch weather on
March 14 was placed at only 20%. This figure increases to 80% for a
March 15 launch attempt.

A couple of Launch Alert readers questioned the 105.6 degree launch
azimuth in my previous e-mail. That parameter came from an official
news release and may be wrong. It looks like the launch azimuth was
confused with the payload's orbital inclination.

An orbit inclined 105.6 degrees to the equator makes sense, but a
launch azimuth of 105.6 degrees does not.
