                           LAUNCH DELAYED

The Pegasus XL rocket launch originally scheduled for February 28 has
been delayed. The launch is now set for March 11. An L-1011 jumbo jet
will carry the vehicle from Vandenberg AFB to the drop point southwest
of Monterey. The target drop time is 06:02 PST during a 05:57:31-
07:19:50 PST launch window. The may be a visual display for coastal
southern California from sunlight illuminating the rocket's exhaust
plume during morning twilight.
