				     CORRECTIONS

The previous issue of this newsletter contained a few errors. The
Vandenberg AFB Launched Schedule was erroneously dated "2003 April 9".
It should have said "April 30".

The Southern California Astronomical Events section contained the
following listing:

MAY 9 20:54-22:05 Lunar Occultation
The Moon occults the star Eta Leonis. Star disappears at 20:54 and
reappears at 22:05.

The times were incorrect and the listing should have said:

MAY 9 21:54-23:05 Lunar Occultation
The Moon occults the star Eta Leonis. Star disappears at 21:54 and
reappears at 23:05.

As you may have noticed, the occultation is tonight (the above times
are in PDT). Eta Leonis is a fairly bright star and the passage of the
Moon in front of the star should be visible in binoculars.

*The disappearance and reappearance times were computed for downtown
Los Angeles and may vary by several minutes depending on your location.
