		         TUESDAY LAUNCH ON SCHEDULE

Tuesday morning's launch of an Atlas IIas rocket from Vandenberg AFB
remains on schedule. The vehicle will place a classified payload into
orbit for the National Reconnaissance Office.

Earlier today I erroneously reported that the Air Force had announced
a launch time of 02:03 PST. That time was obtained second-hand from an
independent, unofficial source.

Countdown status will be posted at:

       http://www.spaceflightnow.com/atlas/ac164/status.html

If you visit the above web page on launch day, be sure to press your
browser's reload button frequently to see the latest information.
