Hi Guys,

Has anyone given thought to low power IR lasers in the 900nm band for 
cloud bounce, communications, or just plain experimentation? We don't 
really need to be 'completely' successful but learn in the process. 
Those Sot boards and processing chips are VERY inexpensive and so much 
more sensitive than the electronics of the past.

Dunno' it's just a thought. BTW those little car back-up cameras in the 
IR region work great for detection, yes I have one, lots of fun and 
cheap too.

Oh, and happy the list has come alive again. Bravo. Say has anyone heard 
from "Toasty", (Tim Toast)?
