Hi. Steve WA6EJO here. Was into laser comm back in the early days (late 
70's to early 90's.)Best two-way 92.8 km HeNe. Just retired from being 
senior test engineer at Advanced Photonix where I worked with lasers, 
LEDs, & detectors all day. Thinking about playing with laser comm again. 
Test equipment mostly RF & microwave but have good setup for optical 
rise time and calibrated photodiodes for power measurement.
