Hi Tom
We use this very low cost video cam.
http://www.pearl.fr/securite/video-surveillance/cameras/mini-camera-cmos-infrarouge-audio_S4044.html
The global sensitivity is near 0.2 lux.
The best spectral response is from 650 nm to 800 nm.
You have to cut the IR LEDs wires and to change the native 3 mm objective by a well bigger one.
The new objective can be from a photo surplus equipement (e.g. old photo standard 42 mm fitted with a made by yourself adaptator.)
The 10 cm lens we used is from a military surplus.
It is an old bomber aiming device.
It has a very short focal lens (around 10 cm => F/0;9) and it is fitted with a 45° mirror for a lateral output.

Which camera is that, Yves? Does it use CS-mount lenses? What 10cm

lens fits it?

Tom
