Kerry, N6IZW and I, KD0IF, along with Jerry Petrizze, W6VLF, spent a
beautiful night in the high desert east of San Diego observing the lunar
eclipse and capturing many giga-bytes of .wav files. We haven’t had the time
to fully analyze them yet, but in looking at the Spectrum Lab display during
data capture certainly tells us that any 50, 60, 120, etc signals that might
be there are certainly very weak and will take some coaxing to dig out.
Kerry and I will be discussing the best way to go about this and the best
way to make these files available to others.

I hope you all got to see the eclipse. From the desert it was a remarkable
sight to see the full moon surrounded by a dark sky and an enormous number
of stars.

73,

Lee
