[Laser] Laser diode checkups

I have a large quantity of Sharp LTO17MDO 50 mW laser diodes that have
been checked and labeled in some cryptic manner.  I was hoping someone
could suggest a simple hookup so that I just check functionality and
power out.  Would this be a simple power supply hookup or would they
need something more complex?

In the near future, I will be offering a 2" three lens transmit
collimator assembly and a 6" receiving lens as an experimenters package
on ebay.  If you're interested, drop me an email. I would give a forum
