Now those kits look pretty neat! I'm sure there are some on this reflector
that have these. What kind of range can I expect? Any, hints or tips
before I jump in with both feet?

I just got two Ramsey kits. You need two, because it's a lot easier to
convince a fellow ham to go out and play if you can just give him the toy to
play with.
There is a little blurb at
http://www.seaside.net/ve7dxg just click on "Laser" near the top.
Hope it helps.

   What's the easiest way to get on laser? I've been a member of the
group for sometime now but don't even know where to start. People were
wanting some traffic on this reflector so I figure this is as
   good a =time as any to ask the question and maybe get a little
   discussion =oing.
