  I do some consulting work designing drivers for LED lighting (did the 
ckts for the new LED edge lights on the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas), etc.
   
  My present preoccupation is with the space startup (moved to Mojave 
CA for this), and wil be using laser link for payloads.  First lunar 
distance (easy), then distances to a large fraction of an AU (very 
difficult).  There are now photon counting detector diodes (Geiger mode APDs) 
which make this possible.
   
  When I get closer to the requirements I will be getting more involved 
in this, similar groups to look for colloborations...
   
  Then maybe I can generate some traffic.
