[Laser] How about this path.

Hello Folks,

I have been inactive on Laser for quite some time now still have a great
interest.

Tell me if anyone would be interested in attempting this

I live in Harwinton CT about 21 miles north of Waterbury CT
Here are the coordinates

North 41.77498 Latitude

West 73.05410 Longitude

The elevation is 1010 Feet ASL

And add 135 feet elevation for tower and mast.

See the profile of the path and the map at this url.

http://w1vlf-antennas.com/test.htm

The is a very large file

There is a 2-1/2" aluminum mast at the top of the tower which would be
represented by the high end of the path by adding 135 feet to it.

The other end of the path is Port Jefferson Station Long Island.

Here are my questions.

Does it appear to be LOS or Near LOS on this path?

If so, how much power would be needed to illuminate the mast, to propagate
to some place along that path that is LOS.

I can point 1 to as many as 4 150 mw laser at this mast and all can be
modulated.

Any guesses as to how much power it would take to make that path?

Would anyone give it a look/listen if I set this up as a beacon?

Any Ideas?

Thank you
