[Laser] LaserScatter software

Hi folks,

I'm curious as to who has attemped the run the LaserScatter software on 
their computer(s).  I've heard from a few folks that it doesn't like to 
run under win98--I noticed that it crashes on my W98 machine once I try 
to record something.  It seems to work fine on my XP platform with Java 
1.4.2, but then again, I wrote it on that computer.  It might have 
something to do with the soundcard not liking the sample rate (8khz) or 
something.  I wish I had more time to play with this stuff, but right 
now I would like to come up with a to-do list when I do finally get a 
chance to do some more programming.

I went sailing on Lake Ontario today...also eyed some possible laser 
paths :-)
