[Laser] clear skies and canyons

I am back from a vacation to Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon.  They brag on 
the visibility over a hundred miles on an average Summer day.  This was a bad 
week with lots of wind that kicked up a lot of dust in the air.  I could 
still see many mountains more than 60 miles away.  Would have been a good chance 
to demonstrate line of sight communications.  The Grand Canyon is better known, 
but I think that Bryce Canyon might be the better site for LOS DX.
 
When I go again, I plan to take a telescope and radios.  It would be even 
better with a schedule for  laser communications.
