[Laser] Taos receiver chips??

Good Day all,.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the Taos, Texas Advanced Optoelectronics 
(www.taosinc.com) TSL250RD, TSL260RD and TSLR257 Integrated photodiode/amp 
light to voltage converter chips? I looked at them a couple years ago, and 
passed them by because the spec's on them were almost non-existant.It seems 
others observed the same problem.... the newest spec sheets are very detailed.

They come in various bandwidths and the feedback resistor is sealed in the 
package-so it's a simple 3 pin transistor type package and the red filter 
is built in to the device package! The red units come have an IR pass 
optical filter which can be ordered as well.

Future Electronics lists the TSLR257 for $2.62 each and the TSL250RD for 
$3.00 each.

They look like a possible hop up for the Ramsey laser communication modules.

Keep dem lasers lit...
