[Laser] Lens for IR receiver

I happened across something in my junk box while looking for a lens for =
a IR
laser project.  I picked up an AN/PVS-3 Starlite scope body with lens =
for
$35 at Murphy's Surplus.  I figure since night vision likes to maximize =
IR
response this would be a good one.  It's a catadioptric  lens about 3" =
in
diameter.  The body has a tripod mount and room for "stuff".  Just =
wanted to
pass it along since I have found this group to be great for lurkers too.
