As an additional safety note:
(A) In some of the lower power lasers the "idea" or concept of
safety is based on a mammalian, human eye-response. The idea is the laser
is bright enough to cause the viewer to blink, turn away or otherwise
avoid the laser BEFORE the total of time and power can do permanent eye
damage.
(B) AT HIGHER POWERS: The laser is so powerful you WILL have
damage before the aversion reflex takes over.
(C) INVISIBLE WAVELENGTHS:
This is an area with potential to cause permanent damage
at nearly ANY power level. Because you do not see or percieve the laser
you do not exhibit the avoidance mechanism or reflex.
(D) DAMAGE RIGHT NOW AND NO SECOND CHANCES:
In any event it is possible to place yourself or others in
a situation which results in RIGHT NOW and Lifelong damage.
Be Careful.
