[Laser] Are we still there

Chuck (WB6IGP) & I are still playing here is San Diego. Just for fun we
picked up some 5+ inch lenses with a 1" hole in the center and are setting
them up with the laser pointer & beam expander going through the hole to
eliminate the parallax we have in our other units. We picked  up teh lenses
 from Surplus Shed for about $12.50. Actually we also have a beam splitter
with eye piece allowing us to view the target while leaving the detector in
place. We're also getting ready for Field day & expect to do  laser
communicator  demos in  daytime this year with the optical  filters we have
installed.
