I am new to the Laser Net but am a long time user of microwave
operations. Have been reading the mail on lenses in general and would
like to offer some surplus lens I have a qty of. There a brand new
Melles Griot Achromat 31.5 MM diameter and 80.00 MM Focal length. Kerry
(N6IZW) and I use this lens as the objective in a beam expander for
enhancing the operation of our laser communication system. Which has
done communications over a 15 mile path using full duplex, narrow band
fm, psk-31 and others. If anyone is interested in these lenses I will
make them available as I have a fair qty of them for $3 each,
essentially the cost of padded envelope and postage. Thanks Chuck WB6IGP
