I've dealt with the FCC and found that there are those in senior commission 
positions who's personal views differ little from my own.  For example see

I know that one can bring great personal hardships if they oppose a 
formidable contender.  But I also feel that the "only thing necessary for 
evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."  I also know that our 
government servants are also men just like me with weaknesses and fears.
