Makeup mirrors work great. I've made 20+ mile paths with one and a
semiconductor PIN diode with 4mW on the TX side. (1KHz tone, OOK)
As long as the focus point is smaller than your RX device you are in
fine shape. Bare in mind you will block a small portion of the mirror
with the RX device.
