[LaHam] Field Day Preparations and EOC Point of Contact Information

Fellow Hams,

I would like to collect information about Field Day Preparations and Plans
for Southeast Louisiana and put together a News Release that can be sent out
to the News Media and Local Officials.  If your club plans to participate in
Field Day in a public place that can be accessed by the News Media and Local
Officials please send the information to me via email.  

I would like to get this in the postal mail and email by next Tuesday, June
13th.  If you know of any clubs or email lists I may have missed in
Southeast Louisiana please forward this email to them.

On another subject, if you or your club plans on operating from a Parish
EOC, Hospital or other Government Facility I am in the process of updating
and compiling a master “Point of Contact” list for the U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary.  After the list is compiled it will be shared with the Parish
EOC’s, Hospitals and ARES so we will all be on the same page and know who to
contact and who we are talking to in an emergency or disaster situation.
  Helpful information would be phone numbers, primary frequencies and
contact names.
