[Lafayette] Strange radio

Hi, I have a bunch of the old HE-52A, HE-520 type VHF FM receivers. I was working on one today to give to a friend of mine to monitor a local repeater.
The schematic for these show a 6AR5 for the audio output tube. This is a 7 pin Pentode. However, the radio I was working on had a 6BQ5 tube in it. This is a 9 pin Pentode. The socket was soldered to the chassis. However, looking underneath, the wiring looks incomplete. In fact, the radio has no output. I have the pin-outs for both tubes, but can't believe someone would do this.
But, ya never know! ha ha
BTW, every single Lafayette I have restored of this vintage (lots!) had every single bypass/coupling cap bad. It's amazing these old radios work at all.....
