Hi RJ Mattson,
Thanks for pointing me to the Manual Man. I have went through him one  time 
before and agree with you that he makes copies better then original,which  
makes the wait worth it.
 
Hi Peter Markavage,
No indication of the model on the meter face. I have searched inside  and out.
It uses two tubes a 5726 and a 6189.
 
There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on the net about  
Lafayette test equipment.
 
If I can figure out how to send a picture I will.
