[Lafayette] Model HA-700 Receiver Info Request

Hi to the Group,

Was antiquing recently and surprised to find a near mint Model HA-700 receiver -
was attracted by its condition and the price of $60.00. In forty years of purusing
antique shops this was my first find of any amateur radio gear that was not in
very bad physical or electrical condition.

The unit works with low sensitivity on the broadcast and 40 meter bands - above
these it is totally silent! So far I have replaced all tubes with no improvement.
Voltage checks show B+ running about 30V high - 180 vs 130 in manual.

So, before pulling out the Signal Generator, VTVM and Scope I would like to
tap your wisdom for any hints on troubleshooting the Lafayette product line
and any known general issues ( didn't see any in the archives, so that is good).

Thanks in advance to moderator Dan Ferguson K4VOA and manual supplier
Dimitri Aguero F4DYT.
