Yes, you can run low power 35-75watts WinLink for 4-6 hrs. After that, the voltage falls off and the radio may cycle on/off on/off indicating your done and need to recharge. (Don't recomend this for a low voltage battery indicator- use a meter. The TS-570 is very forgiving and can take some "abuse." It will operate under the spec 11.7V, but your current draw will increase to the radio.
